An ugly win is always better than an ugly loss. Spencer came out strong keyed by 2 quick goals from Mark Davies. We moved the ball well up front taking a 6-1 halftime lead.

Unfortunately in the second half we missed some opportunities we’re accustomed to making and gave a few back. Nevertheless we battled through thanks to some great goalkeeping from Colin Byrne with solid transition play and a clutch goal from Jesse ‘man of the match’ Churchwood for a 9-6 home win.
