At the end of the 1999-2000 the Kenton and Beckenham clubs decided to merge and form a new club with a new identity, thus ‘The Spencer Lacrosse Club‘ was formed.

The merger proposal followed unanimous resolutions of both clubs to merge and were the result of informal meetings between committee members.

The club would like to thank Mike Cooke (Kenton) and Peter Compton (Beckenham) for all their efforts and commitment over the summer to make the new Spencer Lacrosse Club a reality.

The club will initially use Kenton’s black kit and team colours with the long-term intention to adopt the Spencer Club colours.
