U12 Field Lacrosse Summer Season Starts June 8th

The Spencer U12 programme restarts on June 8th 2017 with a series of training sessions and matches running throughout the summer.

When?

June Thursday 8th 7.00 – 8.30pm Practice, Wandsworth Common

Sat/Sun 10/11th All Weekend International School, Brussels

Thursday 15th 7.00 – 8.30pm Practice, Wandsworth Common

Thursday 22nd 7.00 – 8.30pm Practice, Wandsworth Common

Saturday 24th 11am – 2pm Games v Pythons & Guildford Meet at Spencer at 11am for the bus or go to Imperial Fields, Bishopsford Road, Mitcham SM4 6BF

Thursday 29th 7.00 – 8.30pm Practice, Wandsworth Common July

Thursday 6th 7.00 – 8.30pm Practice, Wandsworth Common

Thursday 15th 7.00 – 8.30pm Home Game, Wandsworth Common

Where?

Cricket is presently being played at The Spencer Club at the weekend and on weekday evenings so these sessions are being held on Wandsworth Common alongside Bolingbroke Road – opposite the end of Broomwood Road. This is a public open space and there are no toilet facilities so players (and parents) will need to be suitably ‘prepared’.

Who?

For players in (UK school) Years 4 – 6

Need?

Players need sporty clothing. Bring your own kit or club equipment will be available to use. The first week will be a free try for all. There will be a single £5 fee to cover the remaining sessions for those who continue.

Following on?

  • Summer Camp – 24/25/26 July
  • Our 2017/18 Programme restarts at Spencer at 10am on Sunday 10th September 2017
  • Autumn Northern Tour – given the success of the trip to Manchester in mid-February, we are looking at a return trip Late October/early November.

Coming along?

Please advise beforehand by email if your child is intending to come along to assist with managing resources and allow us to advise in advance if we are defeated by the weather.
